Our education system ought to adapt to learners. Instead, we force students to adapt to the system — without giving them any guidance. When they don’t, we constantly tell them, explicitly and implicitly through lower grades and lower expectations, that they aren’t smart enough or hardworking enough. And we end up basically giving up on them. What learners really need is the license and opportunity to learn in their own unique way.
We're going to move from this alienating model of everybody getting the exact same stuff at the exact same time in the exact same order. It's going to get the most advanced learners the most stimulating material, and unlock their potential in a way they aren't today. And for every learner, you've got a path to success. It might take a little longer, but you will have a path to success no matter what.
