Part7では様々な形式の文書が出題されます。

まずは指示文「Questions…to…refer to the following ~ 」の ”following” の後をチェックして、文書のタイプを確認しましょう。

例）
・e-mail（Eメール）
・notice（お知らせ）
・advertisement（広告）　など

その上で、各文書タイプのパターンや特徴を知っておくと正答が見つけやすくなります。

今回の例題は「Eメール」に該当し、質問ではメールの目的が問われています。一般的なEメールでは、冒頭にその目的が書かれています。

例題のメール冒頭に目を通すと、”I’d like to get some more information” という表現があることから、答えは (C) To find out about some details「詳細に関する情報を得ること」となります。
